The very Centre of Rome is not opened to traffic (Zona a Traffico Limitato). The best way to enjoying her beauty is by bus, underground or by feet.


BUS and TRAM

Metrebus Roma offers you a large choice of tickets and passes:

UNDERGROUND

Line A: from Anagnina to Battistini is composed of 27 stops and crosses the Eternal City from South- East to North-West. The first train is at 5.30 am and last one at 11.30 pm.
Line B: from Rebibbia to Laurentina is composed of 22 stops and crosses the Eternal City from South to North-East.
The Regional railway Roma — Lido connects Rome to Ostia. It is composed of 13 stops, the first train is at 5.18 am and the last one at 11.30 pm. Usually it takes about 37 minutes.
The Regional railway Roma-Pantano is composed of 30 stops, runs from 5.30 am to 9.30 pm. It runs for about 36 minutes from terminus to terminus.


DISABLED PASSENGERS

Travellers with disabled diseases can take the city line 590 going from Piazza Cinecittà to Piazza del Risorgimento.


110 OPEN TURISTICO

To visit the main monuments and areas of Rome you can choose the Bus “110 Open” running every day from 8.30 am to 8:30 pm and passing every 20 minutes. The terminus is Piazza dei Cinquecento (Termini Station).
The Stop & Go fully itinerary lasts 2 hours and enjoys explication through audio guides. You can buy tickets on board, on line, at Termini Station (info box Trambus Open).
Archeobus is another bus that starts his ride from the very Centre of Rome to Appia Anica. It runs every day, running every 30 minutes from Piazza dei Cinquecento (Termini Station).

Blue Parking
The blue line allows parking (be careful to yellow line: no parking is allowed)
Prices per hour:
From 1 Euro to 1,20 Euros depending on areas. You can buy your tickets at the machine (only coins) or at newsvendors’ or at tobaccos’. From 8 pm (sometimes 11 pm) you can park for free until the day after at 8 am.

ROME BY BOAT

The Tevere can not really be considered as a valid transport for visiting Rome but do not miss the beauty of the Eternal City form the boats cruising during night and day.
You can visit from the Risorgimento Bridge to Tiberina Isle (6 Km) or from Marconi Bridge to Ostia Harbour.
